Reflection:
.) Our original score from Mrs. Jennings was a 25 out of 25 and our original score from the California students was a 23.75 out of 25. I feel very good about these scores because we put a lot of work into this podcast and our score reflected it. The comments that were given to us were very constructive because they helped us to improve our podcast to raise our one grade to a perfect score. Any comments that were given could be used to improve our podcast even if they were only good comments.
.) We didn't make any changes or improvements to our podcast because we got a perfect score on it and there wasn't much we could do to improve it. Most of the comments we got on this podcast were good comments and had no crticism which made it hard for us to change anything so we decided not to change anything. The only thing that changed was that the original MP3 isn't there because we could not recover the recorded file so we could not upload it to the wikispace. Other than that however, nothing in the podcast has changed.
.) I would tell next years students not to procrastinate so that they can get the help they need with the project. the most challenging part is working with the technology to create your podcast so they should also keep that in mind. They should make it look proffessional and make sure all of the information is correct. If you folllow the rubric, get help when necessary, and keep on task then you should be fine.
.) I learned that technology can be used in a proffessional matter. I also learned that technology never works perfectly or in your favor. These tutorials we created could be very beneficial for anyone who would like to learn about geometry and its functions in everyday life. Also, in the future, students could learn from pocasts and wikispaces instead of going to a classroom. It could be very beneficial for online schools.
